It seems silly to be crocheting warm woollies in the middle of summer!
We have had extremely hot days here so my energy for creating has been low. Today we saw a reprieve from the heat with some rainy clouds hovering all day, don’t get me wrong though…it was still humid and sticky! Yuck! I did however have some energy to spare and I wanted to make a start on my new range... Read More

This is my first post in a long time! I have been very busy of late and have had hardly any time for any blogging or videos.
Something I do find the time to do when life gets a little chaotic is drawing. I love drawing large pictures with my Prisma coloured pencils but for me to be happy with a piece when it’s done these large scale drawings take planning and time, lots and lots of time. So when it’s a little crazy around the Twizzlez... Read More

I will show you how to face paint a rainbow faerie design that can also double up as a rainbow princess design too! It may look complex but really it’s so simple and easy and after some practice it’s quite fast to do, just what I need when I have a que of restless kids waiting for face painting!
I use the TAG Regular Rainbow split cake to make the rainbow effect which I absolutely love and the kids do too. Once I pull this out and have... Read More

In my lifetime I have crocheted hundreds of things and millions of stitches. I can crochet all day long, I can even crochet without looking at what I’m doing. Now the same can’t be said for me about knitting.
Knitting and me don’t go way back we are new friends.
I don’t know why I started to crochet so much and never considered knitting many things until this week when I had a think about it. Of course crochet... Read More

In the lead up to the new World of Warcraft movie that is coming out I thought face painting an Orc might be a fun thing to do one afternoon. This design really is handy to know because you can use it as a monster face painting design or even a zombie if you leave off the teeth and add some blood! It would look great with a costume for Halloween or Cosplay.

Superheros vs Tigers
In a world where Marvel and superhero movies make up most of what's on the big screen I expect kids to be asking for face painting related to the characters they see in the movies, but what I have noticed recently is a drop in the amount of kids who are asking for more ‘traditional’ face... Making cute baby bibs is a great idea leading up to the birth of your baby or perhaps a friend’s baby.
